This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Iris Stanley, 15 years old, born on February 11, 2010, and passed away on April 7. We will remember her forever. It’s with deep sadness that we share the passing of Iris Dakota Louise Stanley, who left this world by suicide on April 7, 2025, at just 15 years old.

Iris was a quiet, kind-hearted girl who felt things deeply. She loved listening to music and watching her favorite TV shows. She liked her space, but if you were lucky enough to know her, you knew how caring and thoughtful she really was.

She had a gentle way about her, and even though she didn’t always speak up, she had a big heart. Iris was the kind of person who would sit with you when you were down, no words needed — just there, just real.

Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who loved her. She is survived by her family and friends, who will always remember her quiet strength, her sense of humor, and the way she made the world a little softer.

A service to celebrate Iris’s life will be held at Woodland Cemetery on April 12 at 4:00 PM In honor of her memory, donations can be made to youth mental health or suicide prevention organizations in her name.
